How to Prep

How do you make it?

Just pour 8oz milk or milk alternative in the Shaker Bottle, add a pack of Oats Overnight, shake, and refrigerate before bed. In the morning, give it another shake and enjoy.

What kind of milk can I use?

Any milk or milk alternative works great. Just don’t use water. Keep in mind that milk alternatives are often sweetened, which can affect overall taste. Unsweetened almond mylk is our go-to.

What is mylk?

Mylk is any type of alternative milk like almond, oat, coconut, or soy.

Can I use water?

Don’t use water - it won’t taste great. Think of it like eating cereal with water instead of milk. You’ve been warned.

How long do Oats Overnight last?

Once mixed, we recommend having it within 36 hours of putting them in the fridge. If you don't finish it and plan on eating it later, just put it back in the fridge with the lid closed. The pouches will last for many months unopened. For a precise ‘best by’ date check out the date printed on the top of each pack.

Can I mix and drink them immediately? Or do I have to wait overnight?

The longer the oats soak, the softer they get. We recommend soaking for four to five hours, but some customers do enjoy eating it immediately for a more textured oatmeal.

Can I microwave Oats Overnight?

It’s great chilled or warmed up. If you’d like to prepare this warm, no need to soak overnight. Use a bowl and 5oz milk (or milk alternative). Microwave for about a minute.

Why isn't there a whisk ball in my Shaker Bottle?

The wire whisk ball won’t work with this and will actually block the flow of the oats. The ingredients mix well just from shaking.

How do I get the free Shaker Bottle with my first order?

Is it smooth? What’s the consistency like? Is it drinkable?

It’s an oatmeal shake. Easy to enjoy out of the Shaker Bottle without a spoon. The consistency is hearty from the whole food ingredients so there is some chewing.

How is this different from regular oatmeal or overnight oats I make at home?

It’s much more than just oatmeal. High in protein and fiber with tons of nutrient-dense foods like chia, flax, real fruit, and a custom protein blend. Easy to make and you can take it anywhere.

Is Oats Overnight gluten free?

Yes, we are certified gluten free by the GFCO. Routine independent third party tests ensure that our product remains gluten free.

Are these good for losing weight?

Oats Overnight isn’t specifically a weight loss supplement, but it’s a healthy meal that’s high in protein and fiber. Many customers have reached their goals with us.

How many WW points are in a pouch?

We estimate there are an avg of 8 WW points per serving. Using unsweetened almond mylk is a great way to minimize calories (if this is a goal for you). The servings are also quite large and can easily be split into multiple portions.

Is Oats Overnight kosher?

Yes, we are certified Kosher KOF-K. Symbols are printed on each pack.

Is this safe for diabetics?

We have many happy customers with diabetes that enjoy our high protein meals with approval from their care provider. We recommend asking your doctor or nutritionist if this is a good option for you or if you have any specific questions.

Is there caffeine in any flavor?

We have some caffeinated flavors available, like Mocha Dream (100mg caffeine). Caffeinated flavors will have a ‘lightning bolt’ icon next to them in the Shop.

Subscriptions

How do I log in to manage my subscription?

Visit our Customer Portal and log in with your password or by sending yourself a one-time-code. From there, you can customize your subscription, add a BlenderBottle® to an order, manage your order dates, delay an order, change your order frequency, update your payment method and addresses, and deactivate your subscription any time.

Can I customize my subscription flavors?

Yes, you can log in to edit your subscription flavors for upcoming shipments. If you need any assistance accessing your account or customizing your subscription flavors, please email hello@oatsovernight.com.

How do I get access to subscriber-only flavors?

Subscribers get year-round access to all of our flavors. After you order, log in to edit your flavors and you’ll see all of our subscriber-only flavors available. If you’d like subscriber-only flavors on your first order, email hello@oatsovernight.com after you order and we can swap any flavors you’d like.

How can I pause/cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription by logging in to your account here.

Or you can send us an email at hello@oatsovernight.com, and we will gladly pause or cancel your subscription (or make any other changes you’d like). If you’re pausing, please include in your email how long you plan to pause it for.

What about customizing subscription quantities or delivery frequency?

Log into your account to edit your subscription directly or email hello@oatsovernight.com and let us know what you want to change.

How do I get the flavor in-development to test?

All subscription orders will automatically include a bonus pack of our monthly flavor in-development. You will receive an email survey to provide your feedback and suggestions. You can also find the survey in the Portal or with the QR code on the pouch. We release in-development flavors for purchase in our shop based on this feedback.

Are Oats Overnight vegan?

We have many vegan flavors that use plant-based protein. You can find them easily by using the filter in the shop and selecting Vegan from the menu. All flavors can be prepped with any milk or milk alternative. For full nutritional information, click here and select “Nutrition Label” under the desired flavor you're interested in.

Are Oats Overnight organic?

To keep our product affordable for everyone, we source both conventional and organic ingredients. However, we do have a strict no glyphosate (roundup) policy for our oats.

Do Oats Overnight contain hemp?

Some flavors of Oats Overnight do contain hemp hearts. Hemp hearts are a good source of fiber and protein, and add a great texture to the finished product. Any flavors that contain hemp heart will notate it in the nutritional label.

Shipping and Returns

How long will it take for US shipping?

We strive for same or next-business-day order fulfillment, and once your package is shipped out, it generally takes about 3-6 business days to reach US destinations.

Shipping is free for all U.S. orders, and all first orders come with a free Shaker Bottle. If you’re experiencing any problems with your shipment, just let us know and we’ll be happy to help!

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we do not ship internationally. We do offer delivery to Canadian customers, though we’re currently unable to offer free shipping to those addresses.

Canadian customers can expect a delivery time of 10-20 business days due to travel and customs.

We are not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers from USPS to the local carrier in your country or air and ground transportation strikes or delays, nor any extra fees, customs or back end charges once the package has exited the United States.

What is the return policy?

What’s the difference between the shakes in stores and pouches online?

The bottled shakes sold in stores are slightly smaller with less protein (15g). You can use water or milk to mix directly in the bottle without using a Shaker Bottle. These shakes are also sold individually.

Can I use water in the shakes?

Yes! These retail shakes have oat mylk in them which is why water can be used but you can use milk if you’d prefer.

Where can I buy them?

You’ll find us in many stores across the country on the hot cereal aisle. Check the store locator to find the nearest one to you.

Flavor In Development Program

What is the in-development program?

This is how we make all of our flavors. Every month, we send out a free trial pack of an in-development flavor in each subscription box. Subscribers will try them and give their feedback through the surveys we send out. Our R&D team will compile the feedback, determine if the flavor is ready for a full launch, and make any tweaks to the recipe based on what our customers tell us.

Where are the surveys?

Surveys are emailed directly to subscribers after their order arrives but can also be found in the Portal anytime throughout the month or by scanning the QR code on the back of the in-development pack. If you need help finding the survey (or need a survey from a prior month), just email hello@oatsovernight.com.

Are the in-development flavors vegan?

Sometimes, yes! Each month, the in-development flavor will be the same for every subscriber: some months will be whey/milk-based and some months will be plant-based.

Can I swap out the in-development flavor if I don’t want it?

No but for a good reason. The in-development program is vital to our flavor development and we want all the feedback: good or bad. Sometimes, the most useful feedback we get is from subscribers who don’t think they’ll like a certain flavor. If you really don’t want to try it, we hope it’s given to a friend/family member or donated.

Does every in-development flavor get a full launch?

They don’t but that’s why we do this. Once we collect all the feedback from the surveys, the R&D team will determine if there is enough positive data to push it through to a full launch after making any recipe changes needed. So if you try an in-development flavor and really like it, be sure to let us know!

How long does it take for an in-development flavor to get a full launch?

It depends on the flavor but typically about 3 months from the end of the trial run.
