Back in August, Mango Custard had it’s stint in-development for subscribers to taste test, and it did not disappoint – there was excitement around the flavor, and they felt it delivered on what they expected.
But, this didn’t mean that there weren’t a few tweaks to be made. Something consistent we find across flavors is that more texture makes them more crave able and popular. The Mango Custard survey data confirms this, as subscribers wanted larger mango chunks and a more hearty texture. So, we increased the size of the mango pieces and added slightly more oats to the final formula.
Survey data also indicated subscribers wanted a more intense mango flavor, so we reduced maple sugar slightly and increased mango powder. Now, the sweetness and overall flavor profile is a little closer to a ripe mango experience. This feedback was spot on, and we all agree this is a significant upgrade.
Even super popular in-dev flavors have an opportunity to be improved with a few tweaks, and Mango Custard confirms that. We’ve improved an already popular in-dev flavor to be one of our best new flavors – we can’t wait for you to try it.
